They appear in folklore and sagas, they can be either guides or omens fond in Egil’s saga and Grettis saga. Also have we Huginn and Muninn, Odins ravens (Thought and Memory), They fly across the world each day, returning to whispers alll they see and hear into Odins ears, granting him vast knowledge. The list goes on.
